The goal of the Export Compliance Awareness Program is to provide faculty and researchers with an overview of the critical elements of the export compliance regulations and how they can impact certain research activities.  The program is designed to help faculty and researchers identify when certain activities could negate the Fundamental Research Exemption (“FRE”), and cause the research project to become “export controlled.”
